Your contribution to support citizen led community gardens is a kind deed that serves in many helpful ways. GFD will work with our volunteer network to donate and deliver seeds, tools, and other helpful goods. We also include small size tools and gloves to encourage youth involvement.

Not only do community gardens help mobilize citizen efforts for the common good, they also enhance beautification efforts, generate access to fresh seasonal produce, promote consumption of healthier foods, combat food insecurity, provide life skill development, and generate an overall sense of community pride.
