The mini pantry movement activates community engagement to help combat food insecurity with a “Take what you need, leave what you can” call to action. Started in 2016, with the invitation to duplicate freely, Little Free Pantries are located in neighborhoods across the US.
Similar to the the Little Free Library®concept, pantries are wooden boxes or cabinets containing food, personal care, and paper items accessible to everyone all the time, no questions asked.
